GARDEN DESIGN
Based on your input, we design a garden for you with emphasis on plant placement based on the individual lighting and soil needs of each plant. Our goal is to create enjoyable spaces that last.
GARDEN MAINTENANCE
Services include: weeding, planting, transplanting, splitting, pruning, deadheading, fertilizing, mulching, seasonal shrubs pruning or trimming, insect and disease identification, upkeep of the general welfare of plants in the garden and chemical application (if desired/needed)
MULCH INSTALLATION
We recommend adding 4-6 inches of mulch for weed suppression and moisture retention or 1-2 inches refreshing existing mulch in a landscape. There are a variety of options for the type of mulch to be installed.
NATURAL STONE INSTALLATION
We install natural stone walkways, patios, edging and stacked stone garden walls. Natural stone will add a longer lasting and more natural look to any landscape.
INVASIVE SPECIES REMOVAL
We follow IPM guidelines to identify and control pests and weeds in your gardens and landscape areas. Control methods could include manual and/or mechanical extraction and/or chemical application. The techniques would be discussed with the client to determine the best solution. We are committed to minimizing hazardous impacts on human health and the environment.
SPRING & FALL CLEANUP
In spring, remove plant material from the previous year, cut back winter interest plant material and pollinator nesting plants. Seasonal pruning or trimming of shrubs. Clean up leaves and sticks from garden beds. Apply pre-emergent (if desired). In fall, cut back perennial material, seasonal pruning or trimming of shrubs. Some plant material will be left for winter interest or pollinator nesting through the winter.
SHRUB PRUNING
We prune and trim based on the needs of your shrubs and small trees to promote better flower bloom and overall health of the plant.
POTTED PLANT DESIGN & INSTALL
Pots with annuals, perennials or winter greens add beauty to your outdoor spaces.
ANNUAL FLOWER BEDS
Annuals can add a bright color to any garden bed and add the availability to change the look, texture and feel of the space from year to year.
GARDEN RESTORATION
Restoring an overgrown garden by removing unwanted material, transplanting and/or installing new plants.
